Green Door Clinic Therapy Program
Learning to gain in-depth understanding of your symptoms and underlying issues plays a vital role in helping you develop resources required to live healthy, productive life, free of addiction, anxiety, depression and trauma within the context of your everyday life. At the Green Door Clinic our sole aim is help you get better, and so we have prepared an extensive range of care packages designed specifically around your needs.
The purpose of an initial assessment is to provide you with an opportunity in a safe and confidential environment to discuss your treatment needs and for you to ask any questions you may have. This initial meeting will allow us to understand your needs and goals. From this point we can suggest a personalised treatment plan to suit you. Typically, the assessment will last between 60 to 90 minutes.Book Appointment

Group Therapy allows you to develop stronger communication and socialisation skills such as self-awareness, self-esteem and trust. Supported by a therapist as leader, the discussion between the group provides an opportunity to practice expressing thoughts and feelings in a safe and supportive environment, reducing isolation and helping you to find your voice. The group becomes your safety net for trying out new ways of being. Group therapy lasts for 90 minutes each Tuesday and Thursday from 6.15pm to 7.45pm.Book Appointment

This program is offered to support you at a time when you may require more intensive treatment perhaps when battling addiction, post-traumatic stress or a disabling mood disorder. Participating on the Intensive Therapy Program is an opportunity for you to take time for an in-depth exploration of your thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviours over the period of one or two weeks (or longer as required). It will comprise one-to-one therapy, psycho-education workshops and group psychotherapy delivered by a specialist team dedicated to support you at every stage of your journey. You will be working over the period of 6 days a week, with multiple sessions each day (either one-to-one or as a group) perhaps with a number of different therapists to complement your on-going relationship with your regular clinician.Book Appointment
